RILEY was commissioned by the main contractor, Works Infrastructure, and was responsible for the final design and supervision of:

  • Miragrid reinforced slopes for three culverts, up to 15m high. 

  • These structures were alternative designs developed in conjunction with the main contractor and suppliers.  These wrapped face walls enable a ‘green facing’ in environmentally sensitive areas.

  • Three mechanically stabilised earth walls (MSE) at the Tauhinu Road Interchange and one at the Greenhithe Bridge.  These walls are up to 100m long and, in places, 7m high.
