Land Development Capabilities

RILEY is involved in the assessment of urban and rural site development and is recognised for its innovative and cost-effective design solutions for geotechnically and hydraulically challenging sites. An in-depth knowledge of difficult and unusual terrain allows RILEY to create successful designs for a variety of developments throughout New Zealand and, increasingly, overseas.
RILEY can incorporate geotechnical and hydraulic solutions into the resource consent and civil design for developments; prepare tender and contract documents; and carry out contract observation and project management including compliance for project completion. RILEY has extensive experience of the resource consent process and knowledge of local and regional council requirements for silt control, works in watercourses and stormwater discharge consents.
As well as conventional sewer designs, on-site wastewater systems for individual or communal applications can be designed and consent obtained. RILEY uses land development software packages including 12D and Autocad for the design of earthworks, services and roading.
