VACANCY:  Senior Civil Engineer

The position involves a variety of civil engineering related work including the Christchurch rebuild; land development; civil infrastructure; hydro power and irrigation; and will also cover various project stages from feasibility, consenting, and detailed design, to construction.  The ideal candidate will have an aptitude for project and client management, communication and reporting skills, and motivation to develop new work opportunities.  The position will involve developing new work, growing and managing the civil team and working closely with other senior and junior staff as well as technical inputs into a variety of civil based work.

Our preferred candidate will have:

  • At least ten years' experience in an engineering consultancy environment.
  • Experience in land development both residential and commercial. 
  • Experience in New Zealand and preferably the Canterbury region.
  • A strong technical background, with excellent report writing skills.
  • Someone adaptable and capable of working outside their comfort zone, who enjoys a challenge.
  • The ability to deliver a project from start to finish.
  • Personality and confidence that will endear you to your clients and workmates.
  • Strong lateral thinking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

VACANCY:  Intermediate Water Resource and Geotechnical Engineers

We are seeking intermediate water resource and geotechnical engineers with at least four years' New Zealand consulting experience to join our engineering team.  The positions involve a variety of civil engineering related work which could include residential and commercial development, hydro power, irrigation, and geotechnical projects.  The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate technical competence through various project stages including feasibility, consenting, detailed design, data analysis and interpretation, and construction management.  The position requires an experienced project manager with the necessary skills for the preparation of fee proposals, client liaison, tender submissions, project supervision, and report preparation, including the presentation of results, conclusions, and recommendations.

VACANCY:  Senior Geotechnical Engineer

The position involves the provision of senior geotechnical input and project leadership for a variety of projects including the Christchurch rebuild; land development; civil infrastructure; hydro power and irrigation.  This role will include involvement at various project stages from feasibility, consenting, and detailed design, through to construction.  The ideal candidate will have an aptitude for project and client management, excellent communication and reporting skills, and motivation to develop new work opportunities.
