Intermediate/Senior Dam Engineer (Geotechnical Focus)
THE POSITION
The position involves working on and providing technical inputs to support the development of new or existing earth-based dams and associated structures for a range of hydropower and water supply projects.
You will also have the opportunity to; undertake project management, get involved with managing client relationships and to support with the development of other staff.
Key sectors will work in: water supply, irrigation or energy.
ABOUT YOU
We are interested in hearing from people who have the following:
• A BE Civil qualification or equivalent (Washington Accord)
• CPEng or on a pathway to obtaining CPEng
• Candidates with a geotechnical background who have experience in dam design
• Contextual understanding of other interfacing disciplines with dam design e.g. hydraulic design, hydrology, structural
• Preferably experience with detailed design, tendering, contract administration and construction supervision.
• Skilled in leading and delivery projects and working with clients
