Engineering Geologist
THE POSITION
This permanent role involves providing field mapping of geomorphology and structural features, field investigation, analysis and report writing inputs for a broad range of projects in land development, quarry development, water supply and energy.
You will have the opportunity to undertake project management responsibilities, managing client relationships and supporting the development of graduates and other team members.
ABOUT YOU
We are ideally looking for people who have:
• A BSc (preferably a PGDip or MSc) in Engineering Geology or Similar.
• At least 4-years’ experience in an engineering geology role.
• Experience working with both soft soils and hard rock, geomorphology and structural mapping.
• Strong geological model development skills.
• A background in qualitative and quantitative slope stability assessment skills.
• Experience of designing and coordinating field investigations programmes.
• Project management and client relationship skills.
Applicants for this position should have New Zealand Residency or a valid NZ work visa.
This position is full time (40 hours per week), with a salary between $75k and $95k depending on experience.
