Chris Gilbert

Chris joined our Auckland team as a geotechnical engineer after time as a laboratory technician in Christchurch and Auckland. Through this work he gained a strong understanding of material behaviour and properties.

Drawing on all his combined experience, Chris has been involved in a wide variety of projects. These include multi-million-dollar forensic engineering investigations, large residential subdivisions, high-rise apartment buildings and retirement villages.

As part of his role, Chris undertakes investigations, analysis, design, reporting and supervision during construction.

The variety of work includes:
- stability and settlement analyses
- foundation engineering
- land development
- bulk earthworks.

He has also carried out investigations of industrial, commercial and residential sites for councils and private clients.
