Responsible for the final design and supervision of Miragrid reinforced slopes for three culverts up to 15m high.  the wrapped face walls enable a green facing in environmentally sensitive areas.  three mechanically stabilised earth walls (MSE) up to 100m long and, in places, 7m high.


SH20 Manukau Extension

Overview and geotechnical design and co-ordination of bridges and embankments; review of design packages; liaison with contractors; overseeing supervisions of design implementation through to construction; identification of potential conflicts (risks) in design; and co-ordination with third party reviewers and the client.


Langsview Subdivision, Whangarei

Langsview 400
Design of 800m two-lane shared accessway to Austroads standards, including selection of appropriate alignment in steep highly incised terrain, geotechnical investigation for assistance with feasibility and costings, appropriate bridging and retaining solutions to minimise environmental impacts and full horizontal and vertical geometric design using 12D model.


Mansel Drive and Woodcocks Road Upgrade, Warkworth

Project management, design, consenting, and construction management for a new collector road to service a bulk retail centre and retirement village. Design involved the upgrade of Woodcocks Road from a rural road to collector standard including infrastructure, widening, pavement conditioning, pedestrian footpaths, and retaining. Specific attention was required for the design and construction of pavements within variable and soft subgrade conditions. The newly formed road is intended to form part of the western collector, which helps alleviate traffic passing through Warkworth, along SH1.
